The Origin

Where It Started

Hampton Station started the way the best things do: with a group of friends standing in an abandoned cotton warehouse, asking themselves what they would want here, and what Greenville actually needed.

What grew from that question is something genuinely different. A space that was built with intention, shaped by community, and designed to feel like nothing else in the city.

The Place

Built for the Outside

Tucked into Greenville's Water Tower District and connected directly to the Swamp Rabbit Trail, Hampton Station was designed to put green space first. Parking isn't front and center here, and that's on purpose. The property faces outward toward the trail and the neighborhood, with room to breathe, gather, and stay a while.

Whether you arrive on foot, by bike, or by car, you'll find us easy to get to. The orange spur of the Swamp Rabbit Trail drops you right at our door.

The Community

Locally Owned,
Here on Purpose

Hampton Station is home to a curated mix of independently owned businesses, each one chosen for what it brings to the community. They work differently here: collaborative, creative, and unhurried. The kind of businesses that make a neighborhood worth living in.

Dogs are welcome. Kids are welcome. Staying longer than you planned is practically required.

Hampton Station

"Hampton Station isn't buttoned up. It's a place for Greenville's most interesting small businesses to do their best work, and for the community to show up, linger, and feel at home."
